My name is Chris Lee, and I am here because Western New Yorkers are demanding real reform, real change, real leadership and real solutions. Right now Washington, D.C. and Albany are shortchanging us, and that needs to stop! For too long, we have heard about creating jobs, lowering taxes and eliminating needless regulation. Unfortunately, the results have not matched the rhetoric.
That is why today, I announce that I am running for the United States Congress in New York’s 26th District...because together we can fight the way Washington treats Western New York.
We must fight for the jobs of today and the future because that's how we will turn around Western New York.
We need to fight the way our families and small businesses are taxed - Albany and Washington don't know how to say "NO" to higher taxes and more spending.
We need to simplify and lessen the time families and small businesses have to spend filing their taxes. We need real change in the way small businesses and the private sector are treated in Western New York – less red tape and less regulation.
We need to create real opportunities for new jobs. We must get all levels of government to work together with the private sector -- only by working together will we achieve what all Western New Yorkers want - a strong economy and more jobs!
